Beautiful stamp.

It's not backwards. Done that way on purpose, so that when said
pirate looked at himself in the mirror, it read correctly.

It's not the bass-akwards pirate its the "Vain Pirate" ("You're so
vain, you probably think" ...and etc.)

Use the stamp. It's got character.
